Walks - a 1/2 hour walk involving mild to moderate exercise. Considered the easiest in difficulty.
Wikes - A little longer in duration, up to 3 hours, and moderate to demanding exercise.
Hikes - The most physically demanding and time consuming, 4 to 6 hours is the typical hike duration. Advance sign-up required for all hikes

NOTES: All walks, wikes and hikes are rated according to their level of difficulty: Easiest, More Difficult, Most Difficult and Experts Only. All of our hikes that extend beyond the boundaries of our own property must be registered with the Green Mountain Club in an effort to track the environmental impact on the trails. As with many programs at Smugglers', stewardship of the land has always been a high management priority; therefore, we are encouraging each guest participating in one of the hikes outside of our own property to make a voluntary contribution to the Green Mountain Club at the time you sign up for the hike. The entire amount of money collected will be donated to the Green Mountain Club and used to support trail maintenance efforts on behalf of you, our guests.
